• Nankai University’s Scholar Wins Asian Rising Stars Lectureship Award in the FACS


    December 9-12, the 18th FACS and the 20th FACS Congress were held in Taipei. On behalf of Chinese Chemical Society (CCS), CCS’ Vice President Prof. Zhigang Shuai joined both the conferences. Academic awards of the year 2019 were delivered during the event, and Nankai University’s Prof. Shoufei Zhu won the Asian Rising Stars Lectureship Award.

    The Federation of Asian Chemical Societies (FACS) covers 28 Asian and Pacific countries and regions, including the Chinese Chemical Society. Founded in 1987, FACS Foundation Lectureship Award, the highest honorary award of the FACS, is awarded every two years for outstanding chemists who have made significant contributions in Asia and the Pacific. The Asian Rising Stars Lectureship Award is given to a new generation of scientists in Asia, recognizing their remarkable achievements in scientific research, as they are expected to become the future leading scientists in Asia.
