Youth International Communication Association of Nankai(NKU YICA), established in 2012, guided by office for International Academic Exchanges of Nankai University, is one of the best associations focusing on international communication, and also the youngest association to earn the title as the top ten outstanding associations in Nankai 's history ever, within only two years.

Among dozens of international communication associations of all major colleges and universities, YICA stands out as the very only one who named itself as Youth. Ever since its establishment, YICA's activities have been sharing one theme:youth. A diversity of activities are of the youth, by the youth, for the youth.

----The wishes to YICA by French minister of foreign affairs Laurent Fabius, when YICA accompany Sir Fabius＇s talks with Fan Zeng at Chinese National Museum in memory of 50-year-old diplomatic relations establishment between China and France.

By now YICA have held International Cultural Communication Week for four years, from 2012 to 2015, which makes YICA the youngest top ten association in Nanka 's history ever. ----Among them, EX2 (experience&exchange) is a creation of YICA after synthesizing the forms of “living library” ”meetup” ”one individual one story” and so on. After the second session of EX2, we received a thankyou note from a student of Tianjin University, who is deeply moved by seeing another possibility of life after the activity.

Untertaking foreign exchange activities, helding forums for Chinese and overseas students, organising spring outings, welcoming new arrivals of overseas students and so on are also part of our daily activities. Serving the overseas students well and making them feel at home is our responsibility.

As an association, we are not only partners and friends, all the systems and values that we share have strengthened the connection of each other. Changing of Presidium system, Training system, Buddy system, PCEO system, Member system, Absorbing New Members system, Financial system, Review system…And then we are who we are.
