Greengroup of Nankai University was established in April, 1999, which was sponsored by seven schoolgirls in the Department of Economics, with their own scholarships. It is a large student environmental league, aimed to popularize knowledge of environmental protection, practice green and healthy lifestyles, condemn pollution and arouse the conscience of the young. As one of the earliest established students’ associations in Nankai University, Greengroup has a perfect organizational structure, deep cultures, as well as countless splendid achievements.

Since it was founded, Greengroup has become the biggest and most famous service volunteer student organizations, which has broad influence among Tianjin, and even the whole country’s universities.
