Li Xuyan, Secretary of Party Committee and Director of Foreign Affairs Office of Tianjin Municipal People's Government, and his delegation came to our school and paid a special visit to Carlton Gay, an American foreign teacher and Armin Wisselink, a Canadian foreign teacher of School of Boling. Cao Xuetao, president of Nankai University, Zhao Jianling, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Tianjin Municipal People's Government, and Qu Kai, assistant to the president of Nankai University, accompanied.

Li Xuyan conveyed the greetings from Tianjin Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government to foreign teachers in Tianjin, learned more about the current living conditions and preparations for epidemic prevention  of the two foreign teachers, and hoped that they would convey the greetings to foreign teachers in Tianjin. We firmly believe that under the strong leadership of Chinese government, we will certainly be able to win the fight against the epidemic. On behalf of the school, Cao Xuetao extended sincere greetings to the two foreign teachers and thanked them for their active cooperation with the school's epidemic prevention and control work.

Carlton Gay and Armin Wisselink expressed gratitude to Foreign Affairs Office of Tianjin Municipal People's Government and the school for their greetings. They said that their life in the school went very well. They have lived in Tianjin, at Nankai University for many years, and have already regarded Tianjin as their second hometown. They believed that the preventitive measures taken by Tianjin and the school were necessary to effectively protect the health and safety of the people. They have great confidence for China and they believe that China can overcome the epidemic.
