On October 24^th, the donation ceremony of Wuhan Sanfran Cultural and Sports Co., Ltd to the Nankai Women's Basketball Team was held in the new gym of Balitai Campus. Yang Kexin, Vice Chancellor of Nankai University, Yuan Tianfu, alumni of the 1986 Electronic Science Department of Nankai University, General Manager of Wuhan Sanfran Culture and Sports Co., Ltd., and Deputy General Manager of Wuhan Sanfran Electronics Co., Ltd. attended the donation ceremony.

Sanfran Culture and Sports Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wuhan Sanfran Electronics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Sanfran”). Under the leadership of founder Li Zhongze, Yuan Tianfu and other alumni, it has paid close attention to Nankai University for a long time. So far, it has donated nearly 20 million yuan in cash and equity to the school. This time, Sanfran donated 300,000 yuan to the Nankai Women's Basketball Team in the name of Wuhan Sanfran Culture and Sports Co., Ltd. to specifically support the daily operating expenses of the women's basketball team.

In her speech, Wen Zhiyan, a 2017 undergraduate student of the School of Mathematical Sciences, on behalf of Nankai Women’s Basketball Team, expressed his gratitude to Sanfran for its strong support of the Nankai Women’s Basketball Team. She said that they will work hard in the future and strive to repay the school and Sanfran with better results. In order to thank Sanfran for funding the Nankai Women's Basketball Team, Wen Zhiyan presented team uniforms with Nankai Sanfran Women's Basketball Team printed on them, on behalf of all Nankai Women's Basketball members, to alumni Li Zhongze and Yuan Tianfu.

Yuan Tianfu reviewed the development history of Wuhan Sanfran Women’s Basketball Team in recent years, and said that in the future, Sanfran will carry out more in-depth cooperation with Nankai Women’s Basketball Team, providing support in all aspects, and helping Nankai Women’s Basketball Team to improve their technical and tactical skills and join hands with Nankai University to popularize basketball on campus and spread Nankai basketball culture.

She pointed out that the former principal Zhang Boling’s support of physical education has been a valuable source of spiritual wealth of the Nankai Schools.
