After a long waiting,

the east wind has come, the first trace of Spring.

Look at the branches, clusters of flowers

have been awake in silence,

with its refreshing fragrance.

 

The graceful willows by the river side,

swaying in the wind,

just like the dance steps of lady Spring.

The peach blossom facing the buildings,

like pink clouds hanging in the sky,

making up the blossom fairyland of Nankai.

 

Spring opens the year as dawn does for the day.

This is the most gorgeous beginning of our new way.
