The selection of the 2020 Tianjin Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Scholarship was organized by the Tianjin Municipal Education Commission and the Tianjin Education Development Foundation. It aimed to encourage university students to involve themselves in the innovation and entrepreneur practice in order to stimulate their innovation and develop their entrepreneurial skills. Upon the completion of the process of student applications, school recommendations and expert evaluations, the Tianjin Education Development Foundation had released the list of scholarship recipients. Ten students from Nankai University had been awarded the scholarship of 2020, among whom two had received the top special scholarship.

The abovementioned Tianjin Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Scholarship implemented the innovation-driven development strategy, following the lead of CPC and the State Council, cultivating outstanding talents with strong social responsibility, innovation spirit and practical ability. In recent years, Nankai University has been attaching great importance to the development of innovation and entrepreneurship skills in college students, motivating them to play their active parts in relevant activities. Nankai students have shown great performances in many competitions such as Challenge Cup, Internet Plus and so on. In the coming future, Nankai University will not cease to enhance students’ innovation and practical ability, and will make every attempt to spark student’s creativity in wider platforms.
