The 13th Peak Time Business Simulation Competition has recently come to a close. Under the guidance of instructors from Nankai Business School, Liu Jianhua and Shi Jian, the competing team“The one”, comprised of 2020 MBA students from Nankai Business School, won the special prize of the MBA group (the National Championship) by virtue of their capability for accurate strategic decision-making and their remarkable skills in business case analysis. They will participate in the competition’s global finals on behalf of China.

The Peak Time Business Simulation Competition, hosted by CESIM, the world top-class educational institution for business simulation, is one of the biggest international business simulation competitions in Europe and has become an event for exchanges and cooperation among students from top business schools worldwide. The competition assesses not only students’ skills for data analysis and application, but also their comprehensive abilities of teamwork, cross-cultural communication, innovation and adaptability to changes. In this contest, 36 teams including 144 MBA students from Nankai University competed in the preliminary contest, 21 of which entered the semi-finals and 8 of which won the third national prize. Eventually, team“The one” from our Business School was awarded the top prize in the MBA/graduate group.
