Nankai University Won the Gold Award in 2021 China-Russian Art Festival for College Students

On October 14th, the awarding ceremony and performance of 2021 China-Russian Art Festival for College Students was held in Changchun online and offline. The event was supported by the Ministry of Education of China and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, sponsored by China Education Association for International Exchange and Saint Petersburg State University of Economics of Russia and hosted by Jilin University. The theme of this Festival is Song to Youth - Presenting the 20th Anniversary of the 2001 China-Russian Treaty of Friendship. The program Dust, directed by the Art Education Guidance Center of Nankai, conducted by Professor Meng Chaomei, and performed by the Student Choir, won the highest award of vocal music programs - the Gold Award.

Since the launch of the Festival in August this year, 90 universities in China and Russia have submitted 199 programs. The Festival has set up four awards: Outstanding Program Award, Outstanding Organization Award, Best Contribution Award and Gold Award.

The China-Russian Art Festival for College Students is a systematic project in the educational fields of National Year and Language Year between China and Russia. Since its launch in 2003, it has been warmly welcomed by college students from both countries and effectively enhanced the mutual understanding and friendship between young students of China and Russia.
