Chinese Poetry Education Program, initiated by Nankai University, has lately been awarded as Lifelong Learning Brand Program  in the 2021 National Lifelong Learning Week Event, where one hundred Lifelong Learning Brand Programs were presented to the public.

Chinese Poetry Educaiton Program, is led by Chia-ying Yeh, a distinguished professor from Nankai University, and jointly developed by several Nankai professors. The program selects well-known ancient verses to offer multiple ways leading to lifelong learning. The courses of the program includes: General Introduction of Chinese Poetry Appreciation, Character and Self-Cultivation in Classical Chinese Poetry, Virtual Simulation Experiment of Chinese Poetry Recitation, Poetry and Poetics, Talks by Leading Professors of Poetry Appreciation Teaching, etc. In addition to video courses, Nankai university, by hosting poetry appreciation contest with the theme of Jialing Cup - Chinese Poetry Appreciation Teaching, and offering 2021 Teacher Training Program on Chinese Classics Poetry Appreciation Teaching Skills, introduces the traditional culture throughout the country.

The Lifelong Learning Brand Program, as an important session of the National Lifelong Learning Week Event hosted by the Ministry of Education, shows a vivid picture of learning atmosphere in Tianjin, a learning-oriented city. The influential and inspiring Chinese Poetry Education Program has also carried forward the tradition of Nankai University - Knowing China and Serving China.
