Recently, the 2021 Academic Annual Conference of Chinese Mathematical Society was held in Kunming, and the winners of Hua Loo-Keng Prize of Mathematics, Shiing-Shen Chern Mathematics Award and Zhong Jiaqing Mathematics Award were announced. Cui Suping, a graduate of the Center for Combinatorics of Nankai University, won the Zhong Jiaqing Mathematics Award.
Zhong Jiaqing Mathematics Award is one of the three prizes in mathematics established by the Chinese Mathematical Society, mainly rewarding young mathematicians who have made creative research work based on the quality of their papers.
Cui Suping graduated from the Center for Combinatorics of Nankai University with a PhD degree in 2019 and was supervised by Professor Gu Shanshan. Cui Suping has made a series of important achievements in the partition congruence and imitation theta function, of which the main results have been published in mathematics authoritative journals Advances in Mathematics, and Advances in Applied Mathematics. One paper on partition congruence was rated as the most cited paper of the year by Advances in Applied Mathematics and Highly cited paper by Web of Science. The method introduced in the paper has become a broad and powerful tool for studying partition congruence. He is now engaged in one project of National Natural Science Foundation of China and one project of China Association for Science and Technology.
