The admission notice for Nankai University students enrolled in 2022 was officially released on June 25. This is the first gift to the freshmen, and also the "first greeting" of this century-old university to new students.

The admission notice adopts the Nankai University color - "Pale Purple" as its overall color. It is the color of lotus flowers and reflects the noble character of NKUers and expresses the ardent expectations and good wishes for new NKU students.

This year, NKU customized the exclusive EMS cover for the 103rd anniversary for the admission notice. The front cover is painted with the gold-edged “103” and the NKU emblem. Printed on the side is the NKU motto “Dedication to public interests, acquisition of all-round capability, and aspiration for progress with each passing day”. On the back are the words “May we meet in the world when China takes off” written in pale purple. This is a parting message written by young Zhou Enlai to his classmates before leaving for Japan for overseas studies.

Message from the President

As usual, the admission notice is signed by Cao Xuetao, President of Nankai University, accompanied by a letter from the president to the new students. In the letter, the president shares his understanding of being "NKUers", and encourages them to be pioneering while being pragmatic, make innovations while being conservative, and make all efforts to forge ahead. 

The notice is accompanied by a handbook for new students, helping familiarize themselves with NKU and make preliminary plans for their study and life at NKU in the following years.
