On June 18, Wang Zhonglin, Foreign Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and advisory editor of eScience, attended the "eScience Summit Forum – Lectures of Excellence" hosted by NKU and gave a lecture entitled "Electron Transfer and Transition in Interphase Contact-Electrification" for NKU faculty and students. Chen Jun, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, NKU Vice President and Editor in Chief of eScience, attended and addressed the session.

Starting from the physical mechanism of contact electrification, Wang Zhonglin illustrated the basic scientific issues in triboelectric nanogenerators, expounded the basic principles of electron transfer and transition in solid-solid interface and solid-liquid interface contact-electrification, and further explained the catalytic mechanism of contact-electrification. The lecture was delivered online and the number of online viewers reached nearly 60,000.

Co-founded by NKU and Beijing KeAi Publishing Co., Ltd, the journal eScience is committed to publishing the latest important original research results in the fields of energy, electrochemistry, electronics and environment. It was selected into the high-start journal program of the Excellence Action Plan for China’s STM Journal in 2020 and was included in the DOAJ database in early 2022.
