Nankai University Released Contemporary Logistics in China (English Edition) for 12 Consecutive Years

Recently, Contemporary Logistics in China: Revitalization Amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic was officially released worldwide. It was edited by the Modern Logistics Research Center of Nankai University and published by Springer, a world-renowned technology publishing company. As China's first and only report on the development of China's logistics industry issued overseas, it has been published 12 times, with more than 100,000 downloads, serving as a key platform for the world to learn about China's logistics market and policies. 

The report has been collected by international research institutes such as Stanford University, the National Library of Australia, the National University of Singapore, etc.  Professor Rick Blasgen, Chairman and CEO of CSCMP, Professor John Langley of Pennsylvania State University, and other scholars have spoken highly of this report in their reviews. 

This year's English report consists of 11 chapters. The first chapter analyzes the new requirements and development orientation of China's logistics industry during the period of the 14th Five-Year Plan. It then analyzes the development environment and characteristics of China's logistics industry from an macro perspective, including China's logistics market, logistics facilities and equipment, and technology, as well as regional logistics. It especially presents the characteristics and key areas of logistics in China, including transportation logistics, manufacturing logistics, commercial and trade logistics, as well logistics of agricultural products. Finally, it discusses the hot issues in the development of China's logistics industry. 

The Modern Logistics Research Center of Nankai University is a national innovative research institution jointly established by Nankai University and the National Development and Reform Commission, integrating teaching, research, talent cultivation and consulting services. For 20 years in a row, the Center has released Contemporary Logistics in China (Chinese edition), an annual report on the development of China's logistics industry, with a total of nearly 6 million Chinese characters. The reports have been published nearly 40,000 copies, with 15,000 citations.
