On December 21, the winners of "University Student of the Year in Tianjin" were announced. Bi Songshan, a doctoral student of Nankai University, was awarded the honorary title. 

Bi Songshan, a doctoral student in inorganic chemistry enrolled in 2020 at Nankai University, has been awarded many honors such as the National Scholarship for Graduate Students, "Ten Outstanding Students of Nankai University",etc. He is engaged in the research and development of new energy batteries, undertook the major national strategy of "carbon neutrality", and participated in nearly 10 national and Tianjin scientific research projects. He has published more than 20 SCI papers, including 9 papers published on leading academic journals such as Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Nat. Commun. And PNAS as the first author (co-first author included). He has been involved in the compilation of three Chinese and English books, and won the award for excellent academic reports many times. Apart from being excellent in academic, Bi Songshan is also active in sports, participating in the Tianjin University Students Games and CUBA Basketball Tournament on behalf of Nankai University, 

The "University Student of the Year in Tianjin" is presented to 10 persons every year, representing the highest accolade for university students in Tianjin.
