The 2022 “Shenzhen Cup” Mathematical Modeling Challenge, jointly organized by China Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics and the Shenzhen Association for Science and Technology, successfully concluded. Nankai University team composed of Shuai Jiawei, Chen Guangzheng and Yu Jian from the School of Statistics and Data Science won the only special prize in the national competition. Two other teams won the second prize, and one team won the third prize, placing Nankai University the first among universities in terms of the number of prizes.
