The 7th World Intelligence Congress was held at the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Tianjin). Chen Yulu, President of Nankai University; Gong Ke, former President of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO), Executive President of Chinese Institute of New Generation Artificial Intelligence Development Strategies, and Director of Xinchuang Haihe Laboratory; and Chen Jun, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Vice President of Nankai University, attended the opening ceremony of the congress.
Nankai University set up a 360-square-meter booth for Nankai University’s scientific and technological achievements under the theme of “Intelligence: Extensive Development Space, Sustainable Growth Driver”. Nearly 50 scientific and technological achievements from science and engineering colleges such as artificial intelligence, chemistry, biological sciences, environment, and electronic information and optical engineering were put on display at the S1 exhibition area of the World Intelligence Congress. It includes three sections of intelligent technology, material substance creation, and “Tiankai Park” service, showcasing Nankai University’s latest innovation achievements in the fields of artificial intelligence, intelligent manufacturing, “dual carbon goals” and other areas.
During the exhibition, over ten scientific and technological achievements of Nankai University including “key materials and cells of water-based energy storage batteries”, “in-situ microscopic analysis and manipulator for life sciences”, “intelligent 3D optical measurement sensor”, “clean technology for energy saving and emission reduction in ironmaking and sintering process”, “highly sensitive detection technology based on quantum dot nanobeads (QDNBs)”, “oral health toothpaste” and “adaptive image perception technology” attracted the attention of many professional investment institutions, technology transfer platforms and related enterprises. At the same time, central and local media such as CCTV’s Oriental Horizon, CCTV News Client, and tjyun.com visited Nankai University’s booth to cover scientific and technological achievements.
