On October 10, Nankai University signed a supplementary cooperation agreement and a donation agreement with ENN Group to establish the 'Quality and Trust Intelligence Lab' and the 'Fusion Intelligence Lab' under the Nankai-ENN Cognitive Technology Innovation Center. This move signifies a strategic upgrade and acceleration of their collaboration, aligning with the national agenda for developing cutting-edge interdisciplinary science and technology. It is expected to strongly promote technological innovation and practical advancements in the field of cognitive intelligence in China.

Yang Qingshan, Chancellor of Nankai University, Chen Yulu, President of Nankai University and Wang Yusuo, Chairman of the Board of ENN Group, attended the event and witnessed the signing ceremony. Fang Yongchun and Bai Chengming, Vice Presidents of Nankai University, along with Zhang Jun, Co-Chairman of the Technology Committee at ENN Group, and Zhao Jinfeng, Chairman of the ENN Charitable Foundation, signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties. The signing ceremony was also attended by Yu Hai, Director of the Administration Office, and Jin Yongsheng, Chairman of Shareholder Affairs Council at ENN Group.

Yang Qingshan emphasized that this year marks the 105th anniversary of Nankai University’s founding, and this signing is of great significance for the development of both Nankai University and ENN Group.

Chen Yulu noted that Nankai University and ENN Group will achieve deep integration of education, technology, and talent in the field of cognitive technology, further strengthening innovation in industries and academic disciplines, and the transformation of research results.

Wang Yusuo expressed gratitude for Nankai University’s long-standing support of ENN Group and extended his congratulations on the university’s 105th anniversary.

At the event, Fang Yongchun and Zhang Jun signed the Supplementary Agreement on Jointly Establishing the Cognitive Technology Innovation Center between ENN New Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd. and Nankai University.

Bai Chengming and Zhao Jinfeng signed the donation agreement. 

Chen Yulu and Wang Yusuo then unveiled the plaques for the two new labs, marking the formal launch and operation of the joint labs.

Later that day, both sides held a discussion meeting at the Nankai-ENN Cognitive Technology Innovation Center to plan future cooperation.

The Nankai-ENN Cognitive Technology Innovation Center collaboration project was launched in July 2023.

The two newly unveiled labs represent key achievements in the Center’s development over the past year.

Heads from Nankai University’s Administrative Office, the Department of Science and Technology, the Office of Development Committee, and the College of Artificial Intelligence, along with heads from ENN Group, attended the event.
