On the afternoon of June 17, the College of Software held the graduation ceremony for its 2023 Master Program in Software Engineering (part of Foreign Aid Academic Education) at Shiing-Shen Building, Balitai Campus. The event was attended by Chen Jun, Vice President of Nankai University; Tong Jiadong, Chair Professor at Nankai University; and Fang Yong, Director of Foreign Economic Department of the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Commerce. A total of 41 internationals students from 15 countries and regions, including Ethiopia, Nepal, Afghanistan, Mozambique, and Sierra Leone, participated in the ceremony.

In his speech, Chen Jun conveyed his heartfelt hopes for the graduates, encouraging them to be bold explorers, persistent innovators, and active collaborators in pursuit of shared development. He hoped they would contribute their efforts to advancing technology, education, culture, and social progress in their home countries and serve as ambassadors who foster practical cooperation between China and their nations.

John, a student representative from Mozambique, delivered a speech expressing gratitude to the Chinese government and Nankai University for the learning opportunity, and extended heartfelt thanks to the faculty for their dedicated guidance and support.
