On October 29, Nankai University and Genertec signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Chen Yulu, President of Nankai University, and Yu Xubo, Chairman and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of Genertec, attended and witnessed the signing ceremony. The agreement was signed by Fang Yongchun, Vice President of Nankai University, and Jia Dafeng, Vice General Manager and Member of the Leadership Group of Genertec.

According to the agreement, both parties will work together to adhere to the principles of equality, mutual benefit, complementary strengths, resource sharing, and win-win cooperation. Serving national strategic goals and focusing on developing new quality productive forces, the partnership will combine Nankai University’s expertise in fundamental research, frontier technologies, and top-tier talent with Genertec’s industry resources, application scenarios, and commercialization capabilities in equipment manufacturing and healthcare. Cooperation will center on the intelligent upgrade of high-end CNC machine tools, smart healthcare solutions, industry-education integration, and joint talent development to overcome key technological challenges in these fields.

Before the signing ceremony, both sides held a working meeting to discuss university-enterprise collaboration on advancing scientific and technological innovation, talent development, and industrial upgrading.
